I’ve been blessed with several epiphany moments in my life. One was when I decided to pursue a career in nursing, and another was realizing that I could actually homeschool my children. Most recently, I had an essential oil epiphany when I was introduced to therapeutic grade oils, and they have literally changed my life.

        As a homeschooling family of seven, health and home care has always been a top priority. When home is where we live, work, learn, and play, the quality of our environment becomes even more important. Discovering that essential oils could be the answer I needed was a welcome surprise, and began a journey of research and learning that continues to lead me in fascinating directions.

        The most unexpected result of a new perspective on essential oils has been how the study of oils has led me to a deeper study of Scripture. I have always loved the connection between faith and science, and essential oils fall right into that space. I’m fascinated by the chemistry of essential oils and the unique perspective on Scripture that comes from researching biblical oils.

        As a retired nurse and veteran home educator, teaching has always been a part of my adult life. I am blessed with a wonderful team of friends and fellow advocates who partner together to form the Ravens Nest Essentials Collaborative. Our focus is supporting each other and our clients as we learn and educate others on the benefits of intentional living with a toolbox of essential oil solutions.
